In his address to the nation on India’s 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a strong message to Pakistan. Referring to the Pahalgaon incident and Operation Sindoor, he said, ‘What has been done has not been done in the last few decades.’
In his nearly two and a half hour speech on Friday morning, he promised the countrymen to bring economic relief and resolve to ensure security at the border.
In the middle of the speech, the Prime Minister also turned his attention to the geopolitical tensions in South Asia. During this, he attacked Pakistan in strong language.
The Indian Prime Minister alleged that terrorists have crossed the border and killed ordinary people by asking them about their religion. Which shocked the whole world. The decision to ‘Operation Sindoor’ was taken out of that anger.
The Prime Minister made it clear that after the attack on April 22, the military was given complete freedom – the army completely decided where, when and how to respond. He claimed, ‘What has been done has not been done in the last few decades.’
In his speech, Modi also shared the news of joy, ‘This Diwali, we are providing double joy for you. We are bringing GST reforms for the new generation. This will reduce the tax burden of the entire country.’
According to the country’s official data, initial preparations for implementing this reform began last July. The center aims to make the GST system more transparent and effective for traders and taxpayers through infrastructure changes and procedural simplification.
Experts see Modi’s announcement as an indication of increasing the pace of the economy and increasing the purchasing power of retail consumers.
