US President Donald Trump has said that I can end the ‘3,000-year-old’ conflict in the Middle East. This peace is possible through a solution to the Israel-Gaza war. News from Middle East Eye.
In an interview broadcast on Thursday, Trump said, ‘It looks like the Middle East problem can be solved after about 3,000 years. We are going to bring peace not just to Gaza, but to Gaza as a whole. This will be an incredible achievement.’
However, history says that Israel was established in 1948, after the partition of British Mandate Palestine. Therefore, the historical basis of the conflict that Trump claims is 3,000 years old has been questioned.
Meanwhile, according to the Gaza Health Authority, about 66,200 Palestinians have been killed so far and about 170,000 people have been injured.
