In this upward trend, five more people died in the 24 hours from Monday morning to Tuesday 8 am across the country. This is the highest death record in a single day this year. Dhaka: The Directorate of Health has informed that 534 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours. Earlier on Monday, one person died and 615 people were infected. Which is the highest number of infected in a single day this year. In total, 19 people died and 3 thousand 978 people were infected in 10 days of this month. That is, an average of about 400 people are affected by dengue daily. In the previous month of August, 27 people died and 6,521 people were infected. In the last 10 days, more than half of the patients are being admitted to the hospital.

Chittagong: Two women died of dengue in Chittagong. One of the deceased is Shakila Akhtar and the other is Shanta Sardar. Both died while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) Hospital. Four people have died due to dengue this month. The matter was confirmed by Chittagong District Civil Surgeon office on Tuesday afternoon.

Khulna: A young man named Rasel Hossain died of dengue in Khulna. He died while undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College (Khumek) Hospital on Tuesday. Earlier on Friday, one person died while undergoing treatment due to dengue. Five people have died in Khumek Hospital due to dengue this year. Dr. Khumek Hospital resident medical officer. Suhash Ranjan Halder said that Russell Hossain of Jessore Abhaynagar was infected with dengue and admitted to the hospital on Monday afternoon. He died during treatment at night.

Tangail: Dengue outbreak is increasing in Tangail. In the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning, 7 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue in Tangail. Doctors advised treatment without panicking. Health department sources said that from September 1 to September 10, 78 people were infected with dengue in the district. One of them died. In the last 9 months, out of 341 patients admitted in the district, 315 patients have recovered and gone home. So far 23 patients are admitted in the hospitals. Meanwhile, in September and August, one died while being treated at Tangail Medical College Hospital and two died while being treated at General Hospital.
