BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been admitted to the hospital again. He was admitted to the capital’s Evercare Hospital around 2:30 on Wednesday.

Several tests were done at night and on Thursday on the advice of doctors. Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment in the cabin of the hospital under the overall supervision of the medical board.

Meanwhile, the medical board is reviewing the matter of sending the BNP chairperson abroad as soon as possible. Dr. Khaleda Zia’s personal doctor and member of the standing committee said this in Nayapaltan on Thursday. AZM Zahid Hossain.

He said that madam (Khaleda Zia) was in the hospital for 479 days at various times during the last 4 and a half years. He was finally taken home from the hospital on August 21. But he had to be admitted again on Wednesday night.

Regarding taking him out of the country for advanced treatment, he said, ‘Physical fitness is necessary to take a person out. In order to get on the plane, you need to be healthy enough to withstand negative pressure. How much negative pressure to fly? How much you can tolerate at the time of landing is an academic, professional and scientific matter. Local and foreign members are discussing these issues with the medical board. Khaleda Zia will be taken out as soon as possible if she is physically healthy.

Dr. Zahid said that Khaleda Zia has developed some diseases, which really have no other option except to take her to a modern center outside and consult specialist doctors. All of you will pray for madam. He asked the countrymen for good health.

He further said, ‘After taking Khaleda Zia to prison, leaving her alone, untreated and in a critical condition was part of the specific plan of the previous government. After falling ill, he was admitted to BSMMU. None of the treatment that should have been done properly. Because of which madam’s physical condition has reached such a level that she needs to be taken to the hospital after a few days. ‘

Zahid said, according to the decision of the medical board, Madam was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday night. He is in the cabin. The medical board gave him several tests. They are in progress.

Before this, Khaleda Zia left for the hospital from her residence (Firoza) in Gulshan of the capital on Wednesday at around 1:05 PM. Reached the hospital around 1:40 PM. Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment under a medical board headed by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder.

79-year-old Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various complications including liver cirrhosis, heart disease, lung and kidney complications, arthritis, diabetes for a long time. BNP chairperson suffering from cirrhosis of the liver underwent blood vessel surgery on October 27 last year.

Khaleda Zia’s blood vessels were operated on by bringing three specialist doctors from the US. He had to undergo hospital treatment for more than five months when his health stabilized somewhat. Khaleda Zia’s heart was implanted with a pacemaker at Evercare Hospital on June 25.
