India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that she is willing to resign “in the interest of the people”. He mentioned this in a press conference on Thursday. He said that he wanted justice for those involved in the rape and murder of a woman doctor at RG Kar Hospital in West Bengal.

In the press conference, Mamata said, “I apologize to the people of Bengal who expected an end to the deadlock of RG tax today. They (junior doctors) came to Navanna (state secretariat in West Bengal), but did not sit in the meeting. I request them to go back to work.

The Chief Minister of West Bengal said, ‘I am ready to resign for the sake of the people. Because, despite my best wishes and efforts for three days, the doctors did not agree to discuss.

On August 9, protests started across India including West Bengal over the rape and murder of a female doctor at RG Kar Medical College Hospital in Kolkata. Doctors of West Bengal are continuing their agitation to demand fair trial of this incident. The involvement of doctors in the movement led to the collapse of the state’s health services.

According to the news of Anandabazar newspaper, Mamata also raised the issue of the Supreme Court’s order from the meeting of Navanna. He said, “According to the Supreme Court order, the time has passed. As far as I know, the Supreme Court has said that they will not prevent the state from taking action. But I won’t do anything. Many people are not receiving treatment. 27 people have already died. Seven lakh people are deprived. my heart is crying They are small, I forgive them. I apologize to the people of Bengal. I tried for three days but could not solve it.
