A high-level meeting on ‘Reopening and Management of Closed Factories under the Ministry of Industries’ was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday (June 4) morning.
The Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary-1 Zahidul Islam Rony confirmed this information to the media.
The meeting discussed in detail the current status of various closed factories in the country under the Ministry of Industries, the economic and technical possibilities of reopening them, and various important issues related to ensuring efficient management.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Industries and the Cabinet Division were present in the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister.
