He was an APS man trusted by former Law Minister Anisul Haque. As such, any complaint brought against him, from the senior police officers to the district officers were afraid to take action. When the Awami League government was in power, he also bought special honors with stolen money to enhance his title. He served in that police station for almost two consecutive years and was transferred to the neighboring Biyanibazar police station. For mysterious reasons, he did not stay there for long. After several months, he was again given an opportunity to join the border area of ​​Jaintapur. The business of earning money with both hands started again. How he used to extort lakhs of rupees from smugglers-

Jaintapur bazaar and border area used to snatch around two lakh rupees daily at night. A syndicate group including former CNG autorickshaw driver Abul aka top smuggler Picchi Abul, Rubel member of Shyampur village, alleged Awami League leader of Balipara village and Jalal Uddin working in gas field used to deliver donations from Haripur area. Now they all have gone from zero to millionaires. Also, several smugglers in the upazila have built a mountain of black money. The list of these Raghabboals is also in the hands of intelligence agency NSI. Besides, the OC himself has maintained his position by building a mountain of black money and using some dishonest members of the police as pocket money.

It is alleged that former OC of Gowainghat police station, who became a millionaire, and that OC worked together. They both complemented each other. The former police superintendent of the circle and district in charge of the police station also earned money from these two people. They have also been honored. All of them were friends of Awami government. The smuggling trade has not stopped even in the present time. Another top smuggler Masuk of Kanaighat upazila has joined them. Recently, various types of goods are entering freely through the Indian border Nomans Land 1291,1292,1293 pillar area of ​​Jaintapur.
