Central Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Ahmed Azam Khan said – In the last 15 years, the autocratic Awami League government has disappeared 522 party leaders including Ilyas Ali of Sylhet while suppressing BNP. 10,000 BNP leaders and activists have been killed. 1 million leaders and activists have become destitute under the wrath of tyrant Hasina. Ahmed Azam Khan said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the pre-rally rally organized by BNP on Tuesday afternoon (September 17) at Sylhet Alia Madrasa ground.

Under the chairmanship of BNP central co-organizing secretary Miftah Siddiqui and joint management of district BNP general secretary Emran Ahmad Chowdhury and metropolitan BNP general secretary Imdad Hossain Chowdhury, advisor to BNP chairperson Tahsina Rushdir Luna, former CSIC mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury, central organizing secretary G. K Gauch, Co-Organizing Secretary Kalim Uddin Milan, Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury, Central Co-Minister Credit and Cottage Industry Affairs Secretary Abdur Razzak, National Executive Committee Member Abul Kaher Chowdhury Shamim, Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury and others.

The main program of the rally starts from 3 pm. However, the activists of Sylhet division started coming to the gathering place from noon. Around 2 o’clock, the Aliya Madrasa ground was filled to the brim. At the end of the rally, the huge rally started from the Aliya Madarasa ground and ended at the registry ground of the metropolis.
