Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, special assistant to the BNP Chairperson and convenor of the Labor Party, said that Awami League and democracy never go together. They never wanted democracy to be established in this country. So this group tried to kill the democracy by conspiring to overthrow the democratic government and seize the power.

He said that after the fall of fascism in exchange for the blood of student workers, Awami League has continued its plot to destroy the democracy that has returned to the country.

Shimul Biswas said these things in a rally organized by District Labor Party at Narsingdi Bus Terminal on Saturday afternoon. This huge labor rally was held as a part of the continuous program of the labor party to demand against terrorism and anarchy.

He said that the anarchists in the industries, ports, transport sector, pharmaceutical industry, garments sector created by the allies of Awami League should be resisted and normal production should be maintained and a peaceful environment should be maintained in factories and workers should be guaranteed fair wages.

Shimul Biswas said, Awami League never comes to power by the people’s vote, they are held in power by their master on the condition of selling the interests of the country as a friend of external forces. And whenever the people of the country stand up against the hegemony, they start disappearing and murdering the people. A steam roller of tyranny runs over the people.

He said, to destroy the economy of a country, the industries must be destroyed first. Instability has to be created in industrial establishments. The Awami League government has gradually done so. On the advice of their master state he still continued the conspiracy.

BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon was present as a welcome guest in the labor rally under the chairmanship of Narsingdi District Labor Party President Rabiul Islam Rabi.
