India should send Hasina back to Bangladesh: Zainul Abdin

Dhaka //

Addressing former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Advisor to BNP Chairperson Zainul Abdin Farooq said, you think you will come back to Bangladesh again, you will do politics again in Bangladesh. If you really wanted it, you would walk to jail after resigning. If your word, if you had your lakhs of workers, if you had the boom that you spoke of development, if you had it in you, you would not have run away.

He said this on Monday at a sit-in program organized to demand the prosecution of corrupt MPs who were elected without a vote from 2008 to 2024. Nationalist New Party organized this program in front of National Press Club.

Zainal Abdin said, the people of Bangladesh now have only one demand, you (interim government) clean up the garbage. But give opportunity to the people’s representatives, who will go to the parliament to frame and change the constitution. So give a roadmap soon.

Zainul Abdin also said, I sent hilsa fish. Sending more would have released more water. Friends, we are telling India every day, people of Bangladesh expected from you democratic rights, elections like your country. But you have supported such a person, such a group in Bangladesh, who killed the democracy of Bangladesh in a minute, emptied the chests of many mothers, rigged all the elections, shot dead the names in the streets in the movement for the establishment of rights, killed Abrar in the university, Biswajit in the streets. Hacked and killed, looted 99 thousand crore rupees from the country, took away people’s right to speak. You should have sent Sheikh Hasina, the accused in hundreds of cases, back to Bangladesh.

He also said that the smell of blood of Abu Saeed, Khokon, Mochadar has not left the nose yet. But in the meantime, Awami League’s companions are engaged in a conspiracy to destabilize our beloved Khagrachari, Rangamati. So people of Bangladesh can never trust India. We expected you (India) to hand over Sheikh Hasina immediately. But you have not yet achieved that faith. If you love Bangladesh, love the people of Bangladesh, then you should hand over those Bangladeshis who have now taken refuge in India, one by one.

Addressing the interim government, he further said that no matter how much instability Awami League creates, they have sophisticated weapons, have a lot of money, they are still trying to organize. We have to keep our eyes and ears open.

Jatiyatabadi Navin Dal founder president Humayun Ahmed Talukder presided over and general secretary Md. BNP Voluntary Affairs Secretary Mir Sarfat Ali Safu, Nationalist Ulama Party Joint Convener Maulana Alamgir Hossain, Fisherman Party Member Ismail Hossain Sirazi and others were present in the program moderated by Sohel Rana.
