Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the United Nations a “house of darkness” in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday. In reference to the United Nations, he said, “Most of this swamp full of anti-Semitic bile is inhumane to the Jewish state.” Many resolutions against Israel have been passed in the past decade. He called it hypocrisy, double standards and a joke.

Netanyahu also said that war criminals are in Iran, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.

“When our people are killed, no one raises a finger to defend us,” the Israeli prime minister said. Now we have our own state and we are defending it ourselves. Israel will win this war, because we have no other choice.

Netanyahu began his speech by outlining his rationale for coming to the United Nations. He said, he did not want to come to the United Nations. But he was forced to come. He is here to answer the lies and slander of other world leaders.

In his speech, Netanyahu compared the attack by Hamas on October 7 to the Holocaust. He talks about bringing back the hostages in the hands of Hamas.

Netanyahu did not comment on the ceasefire in Lebanon in his speech. However, he threatened Iran and said that Israel is capable of attacking anywhere in Iran. He vows to fight until Hamas is eliminated. He asked Hamas to surrender.

Regarding the Gaza war, Netanyahu said, ‘We are not trying to resettle Gaza. We want a demilitarized and de-radicalised area there. The Government of Israel is ready to work with regional and other regional civilian leaders there. But they should show peaceful coexistence. But Israel will never accept Hamas.

Netanyahu asked, who will you choose? Israel, stand next to democracy and peace or stay with Iran?

Israel will not rest until Jewish settlers are safe from Hezbollah attacks, Netanyahu said. Regarding Gaza, he said that almost half of the 40,000 Hamas soldiers were killed or captured by them. 90 percent of their rockets were destroyed.

Threatening Iran, Netanyahu said, if Iran attacks, Israel will counterattack.

Netanyahu called on the United Nations to impose sanctions against Iran. Threatened, Israel will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. He talks about defeating Hamas and Hezbollah.

Later, Netanyahu criticized the United Nations and said that the United Nations is a house of darkness. He talks about seeing Israel as equal to other countries.
