Light to moderate rainfall may occur in the next 24 hours in different parts of the country. In some places there may be moderate heavy rainfall.
The information was revealed from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday.
It said that in many places of Rangpur Division in the next 24 hours from 9am on Saturday; In some parts of Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and in some places in Barisal and Chittagong, light to moderate rain or thunderstorms may occur with temporary gust. At the same time, moderate heavy rains can occur anywhere in the country.
Meteorologist of the Meteorological Department. Omar Farooq said that light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur across the country until September 7. Rainfall may increase from October 1. It is thought that the rain may continue for three to four days.
According to the department data, a maximum of 5 millimeters of rainfall in Tetulia in Rangpur and the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours till 4am today. And the maximum temperature was 5.75 degrees Celsius in Srimangal.
In the next five days, the tendency of rain or thunderstorms may increase, the forecast said.
