Meanwhile, the latest 72-hour weather forecast says that the extension of the monsoon axis has extended across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of this is located in the North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
The forecast for the next 24 hours from 6:00 PM on Monday has said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur in most parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day temperatures may drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
