“We will not call those who have not yet joined police,” said the home adviser. Call them criminal. We have decided to recruit Ansar, Police and BGB. You will get Sub-Inspector recruitment notification in a day or two.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, today was the second meeting of the law and order advisory committee. The meeting started at 11 o’clock. There was a discussion about the upcoming Durga Puja so that it can go smoothly. Hopefully, this year’s puja will be the most seamless, the best. Law and order situation in the country was also discussed. I have also talked about the trouble going on in the factories in Ashulia. I also spoke in detail about arms recovery operations and prevention of drug use. We also talked about the Myanmar border.
He said, I will take all the necessary steps to make the puja unhindered. I hope this year’s puja will be better than last time. That’s why everyone needs help and cooperation. The improvement in the law and order situation is satisfactory. As days go by, the law and order situation will improve further.
The advisor said, apart from this, we discussed in the meeting how to provide security to various shrines and dargahs. We talked about the garment sector in particular.
When asked how many policemen have not yet joined the work, he said it was like 187. Later it seems no one else joined. Those who did not join, they should be brought under the law. We will not call them police, we will treat them as criminals.
