25 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have been charged to the International Criminal Tribunal for the killing of Anas, a class 10 student, by an armed police battalion in Chankharpool, capital, on August 5, during the anti-discrimination student movement.

On Wednesday (October 2), the chief prosecutor of the tribunal, Mohammad Tajul Islam, submitted this complaint to the father of the deceased Anas. Palash.

A total of 31 separate complaints have been filed against the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who resigned in the face of the anti-discrimination student uprising. 13 of these have been submitted to the Chief Prosecutor. The rest were submitted to the investigating agency.
