Interim government chief advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus held a private meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim who is visiting Bangladesh. The meeting was held at a five-star hotel in the capital on Friday (October 4) at noon.
Professor Yunus said that he was “very happy” to welcome his old friend to Dhaka. He briefly discussed the sacrifices of students and common people in the recent student-led movement in Bangladesh and the brutality of the previous government.
Dr. Yunus said, I have a long relationship with Malaysian universities and the country’s leaders. I want to use it to move forward.
Earlier, the two leaders reached Hotel Intercontinental in Rajadhani in the same car as a sign of friendship. Their bilateral meeting was held there. This information is known from the press wing of the Chief Adviser.
It should be noted that around 2 o’clock today, the chief advisor Professor Dr. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Dhaka on a short visit at the invitation of Muhammad Yunus.
