The chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh has been included in the list of 500 most influential Muslim figures in the world. Muhammad Yunus. He is among the top 50 personalities in the list.

The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center (RISSC) based in Amman, the capital of Jordan, has published this list of the most influential Muslim people in the world for the 16th time. The organization has been publishing this list every year since 2009.

The list titled ‘The Muslim 500: The World’s Most Influential Muslims’ features individuals who have made profound contributions in various fields ranging from religious thought and political leadership to art and culture and have significantly influenced the Muslim community at home and abroad.

This year’s list was prepared in collaboration with the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University in the US.
