Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (BABCHAK) is working to increase passenger service standards at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Babychak chairman Mohammad Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan said that this work is ongoing to increase the facilities of expatriates.
He said these things in a courtesy meeting with Aviation and Tourism Journalist Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB), a journalist organization of the aviation and tourism sector at Babychak headquarters on Tuesday.
Babychak Chairman said that Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has to deal with the pressure of more passengers than its capacity. Babychak is trying its best to improve airport services. Several new initiatives have been taken up, which are ongoing.
He said that a special lounge is being arranged on the second floor of multi-storey car parking of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for expatriate passengers within the next one month. There, the expatriates from far and wide will be provided with rest and healthy food at low cost.
At this time, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Executive Director Group Captain Kamrul Islam, ATJFB President Tanjim Anwar, Vice President Rajeev Ghosh, Organizing Secretary Imrul Kawsar Emon and other senior members of the organization were present.
