Our contact with Bangladesh continues: Matthew Miller

“We continue to work on various issues in Bangladesh and we continue to be in constant communication with Bangladesh to ensure progress on these issues,” said US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller at a regular briefing on Tuesday (October 8).

In the briefing, Miller reiterated the full support of the United States to the interim government of Bangladesh. Professor Dr. Responding to reporters’ questions about the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus, he said the United States is working closely with Bangladesh to address various challenges, including the country’s economic stability, democracy, and the Rohingya refugee crisis.
