In the seminar, political party leaders proposed various reforms including holding elections under a caretaker or interim government, canceling the opportunity for uncontested elections, and holding elections by dissolving parliament. BNP Vice Chairman Asaduzzaman Ripon said, “There should be no uncontested elections.” Re-voting if necessary.’ He also proposed a minimum 3-year membership requirement for party candidates.

Jonaid Saki, chief coordinator of Mass Solidarity Movement, said, “Consensus among political parties is needed to reform the electoral system. Apart from this, no one from the 14-party alliance, including the Jatiya Party, has been called, which is a big anomaly.

Apart from this, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Moazzem Hossain Alal, AB Party Member Secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju, Gana Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Noor and many others spoke in the seminar.
