Two ships of the Chinese Navy arrived in Bangladesh on a four-day goodwill visit

Two ships of the Chinese Navy – ‘Chi Ji Guang’ and ‘Jing Gang Shan’ have arrived in Bangladesh on a four-day goodwill visit. Chief Staff Officer Captain M Asaduzzaman on behalf of Commander Chittagong Naval Region welcomed the ship when ‘Chi Ji Guang’ arrived at Chittagong port yesterday (October 12).

During this time, the well-equipped navy band performed the band in traditional style. Among others, the Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh and other representatives of the local navy were present to welcome the ship.

It should be noted that the other ship ‘Jing Gang Shan’ will be stationed outside Chittagong during the tour. Earlier, when the two ships arrived in the Bangladeshi waters, the Bangladesh Navy ship Banauja Samudra Abhiyan welcomed them.

Chinese Navy Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Zhai Bauran and Rear Admiral Sun Zhongyi led by ‘Chi Ji Guang’ and ‘Jing Gang Shan’ paid a courtesy visit to Bangladesh. During their stay in Bangladesh, a delegation including Chinese Navy Fleet Commander, Ship Captain, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh and other officials will pay a courtesy call on Commander Chittagong Naval Region, Commander BN Fleet, Chairman Chittagong Port Authority and Commandant of Bangladesh Naval Academy. After the goodwill visit, the two ships will leave Bangladesh on October 15. ISPR
