On Tuesday (October 15) at 11 am, the results of HSC and equivalent examinations were published simultaneously on the websites of respective boards and educational institutions.

The average pass rate in 11 education boards including 9 general and madrasa and technical boards is 77.78 percent.

It is known that the pass rate of Dhaka Education Board is 79.21 percent, the pass rate of Chittagong Education Board is 70.32 percent, the pass rate of Barisal Education Board is 81.85 percent, the pass rate of Rajshahi Education Board is 81.24 percent, the pass rate of Comilla Education Board is 71.15 percent, Jessore. The pass rate in education board is 64.29 percent, the pass rate in Sylhet education board is 85.39 percent, the pass rate in Dinajpur education board is 77.56 percent, the pass rate is 63.22 percent in Mymensingh Jessore education board.

Apart from this, a total of 1 lakh 31 thousand 376 people got GPA-5 this time. 92 thousand 365 students got GPA-5 in 2023.

HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. There were 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 candidates. As per the first published routine—after 8 days of examinations, all examinations on July 18 were postponed due to the situation surrounding the quota reform movement. After that, the government suspended the examination in three stages.
