The Directorate of Information has called for submission of videos and stills captured during the anti-discrimination movement. This call was made through a circular on Monday (October 14) morning.

According to the notification, the Directorate of Information under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken the initiative of long-term preservation of audio-visual documents and still images of the events of the July-August revolution and the July revolution. If anyone has any video footage or stills of this movement and revolution, then it is requested to send it to the e-mail address pidjuly2024@gmail.com with a brief description.

It is also said that this revolution has shown the dream of a bright new Bangladesh to stand tall in front of the world as a fascism-free, democratic and self-respecting nation. Apamar students were associated with this movement. Children-teenagers-students have sacrificed their lives to build the dream Bangladesh.

It added that the wretched brutality of Bloody July and its heroism could be lost without proper preservation. The videos and stills of the revolution in your collection are our national assets. Contribute to the conservation of this resource.
