Wife Amena Bibi (58) died after being kicked by her husband over a land dispute in Patuakhali Galachipa. The incident took place on Wednesday morning at Gurinda Bazaar of Ratandi Taltali Union of Upazila. The police recovered the body and sent it to Patuakhali morgue for post-mortem.

According to police and local sources, Asma, along with her two brothers Ripon and Hasan, went to build a house on the 6th century land obtained by Asma, daughter of Nasu Gharami’s first side, in Gurinda Bazaar of Galachipa Upazila Ratandi Taltali Union at around 9 am on Wednesday. When Nasu Gharami’s second wife Amena Bibi’s Dhala Gharami’s children Shamim and Shaheen interfered, the two sides clashed. At that time, wife Amena Bibi was seriously injured by Nasu Gharami’s kick. When the family members took Amena BBK upazila health complex with serious injuries, the doctor on duty declared her dead.

Ashadur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Galachipa police station, said that the body was recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy.

Mention, Amena Bibi’s previous husband Dhalaghrami and Nasu Gharami are her two brothers. After the death of Dhala Gharami, his wife Amena Bibi was taken by Nsu Gharami as his second wife.
