Some parties have asked for elections at a reasonable time. NDM said to withdraw all cases of Tariq Rahman. BJP has proposed to form a commission to recover the money laundered.
The parties made these proposals in a dialogue with the Chief Adviser held at Yamuna, the official residence of the Chief Adviser. The head of government held a dialogue with 10 parties and alliances to advance the reform process. Earlier on October 5, the government held a dialogue with some parties including BNP-Jamaat.

LDP’s demand to ban Awami League: LDP President Colonel (Retd.) Oli Ahmed has demanded to ban Awami League in dialogue. He said, I have given 103 proposals in the first round and 23 this time. Jamaat was banned for siding with Pakistan in opposing the Liberation War. Why will Awami League not be banned today? Awami League must be banned. The LDP president said that the reform commission should be given the task of making the outline. At the end of the draft, the workshop with the experts will finalize the reforms. Politicians have to give written opinion on it. LDP Secretary General Dr. Redwan Ahmed and Presidium member Nurul Alam Talukder participated in the dialogue.
12 Party Alliance 14 Proposals: The 12 Party Alliance proposed 14 points in the dialogue. The head of the alliance and the chairman of Jatiya Party (Zafar) Mustafa Jamal Haider said that we have asked to control the price of goods even with subsidies. Demand ban on 14 parties: Andalib Rahman Parth said, Awami League and 14 parties should be banned. Even if it is not important, the process of taking measures should be initiated to prevent it from coming to the polls. I have told the Chief Adviser not to give his hand to any reforms which should be undertaken by a democratic government. He also said that Awami League conducted three illegal elections. I said whether any action can be taken in this regard.

It is not logical to put the responsibility of Sheikh Hasina government’s mistakes on Bangabandhu: Sharif Nurul Ambia, president of Bangladesh Jasdar (Part), said that the debate about Bangabandhu and March 7 was not acceptable. It is not logical to blame Bangabandhu for the mistakes of the Sheikh Hasina government.
Demand for introduction of caretaker government system: Apart from this, Bangladesh Labor Party raised various demands including bicameral legislature, making the term of parliament four years, introduction of caretaker government system.
