President Md. Hundreds of people are protesting in front of Bangabhaban demanding Sahabuddin’s resignation. They took a position in front of Banga Bhavan on Tuesday afternoon under different banners.
Demonstrators are protesting on the road in front of Banga Bhavan passing Rajuk Bhavan from Motijheel to Gulistan. They closed the side of the road around 5:30 in the afternoon. Protesters chanting slogans against the President.
Protesters are protesting separately in front of Bangabhavan under several banners. Among them, students are protesting under the banner of Inkilab Manch, people injured in the anti-discrimination movement under the banner of Raktim July 24, a group of people under the banner of July 36 Parishad, a group of people under the banner of Ziaur Rahman Samaj Kalyan Parishad, some people under the banner of Anti-Fascist Students-Janata Manch. In all, hundreds of people are protesting there.
They are chanting, ‘One point one demand, shut up, when will you go’? According to them, President Mohammad Sahabuddin has broken his oath. Now he has lost the eligibility to hold the post of President.
Mass gathering program is going on under the call of anti-discrimination student movement at Central Shaheed Minar to demand the removal of the President. Earlier in the afternoon, the leaders and workers of an organization named Swaraktan-Sarbamut Raksha Committee (SWARK) held a rally in front of Dhaka University’s Raju sculpture with four demands, including the removal of the President.
