The Ministry of Youth and Sports awarded one crore taka to the winning female footballers. Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan handed over the winning bonus to Sabinas at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFFE) building on Thursday (October 31).
At that time, the sports advisor said that Bangladesh has become the champion for the second time in the SAFF Championship. After returning home, I came to Bauffe to welcome them. The Honorable Chief Adviser expressed his intention to meet with the National Women’s Football Team as soon as he got to know the matter.
He said that he has invited the women’s football team to his residence on Saturday at 11 o’clock. For giving this beautiful victory to the nation, footballers will be awarded one crore rupees from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Earlier on Thursday (October 31) Sabina Khatun, Rituparna Chakma, Monika Chakmara landed at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:30 PM.
Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan was waiting from 5:30 PM to greet the champions. After Sabinara arrived, the adviser went to the conference room on the third floor of Buff. The advisor is having a courtesy meeting with the players there. Ministry and NSC officials are with him.
Meanwhile, on Saturday (October 31) for the second time in a row, Bangladesh women’s football team will be welcomed by the chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
Incidentally, Bangladesh won 2-1 against Nepal in the final match of SAFF Women’s Championship on Wednesday (October 30). Monika Chakma and Rituparna scored two goals for Bangladesh. Forward Amisha scored the only goal for Nepal. Nepal’s heart broke 6 times with this. They lost the title to Bangladesh in the last season as well.
