The results of Pennsylvania have been announced as the third state among the seven swing states in the US presidential election. According to the US media CNN, Democratic Party candidate Donald Trump has won there. And with his victory, 266 electoral college votes are confirmed. To become the US president, 270 electoral college votes are needed.
The seven swing states in the US are Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
Now, Trump is ahead in all four remaining swing states. Of these, 90 percent of the votes have been counted in Wisconsin. There, Trump is ahead of his rival Kamala Harris by more than 4 percentage points. The number of electoral votes in this state is 10. If Trump wins this state, his electoral votes will be 276.
Of the seven swing states, Trump first won North Carolina and then Georgia. After winning the other two, his electoral votes rose to 247. North Carolina has 16 electoral college votes, Georgia has 16. And Pennsylvania has 19.
