British High Commissioner Sarah Cook paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed. During the meeting, Sarah Cook assured that the UK will support Bangladesh in reforming the judiciary.
The hour-long meeting was held at the Chief Justice’s office at the Supreme Court on Thursday. During this time, they discussed various aspects of the judiciary.
Supreme Court Registrar General Dr. Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan, High Court Division Registrar Munshi Moshiar Rahman, and Chief Justice’s Private Secretary Shariful Alam Bhuiyan were present at the time.
