On the other hand, the court has ordered the arrest of former minister and Awami League advisory council member Amir Hossain Amu, who was arrested in the same case, to be sent to jail after six days of remand.
The Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court issued the order on Tuesday. This information was confirmed by Sub-Inspector (SI) of the Crime and Information Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Anup Kumar Das.
Police said that Dhirendranath Shambhu was arrested from the capital’s Uttara area on Monday. And Amir Hossain Amu was arrested on November 6. The next day, his six-day remand was granted.

The remand application states that it is necessary to take Dhirendranath Shambhu on remand and interrogate him to identify and arrest the absconding accused in the Wadud murder case.
On the other hand, the accused party requested to reject the remand application. At the same time, an application was made for bail for Dhirendranath Shambhu.
After hearing both sides, the court granted Dhirendranath Shambhu a six-day remand.
On the other hand, after the six-day remand, the police produced Amir Hossain Amu in court today. Later, the police requested in writing to keep him in jail.
On the other hand, the accused party sought bail for Amir Hossain Amu. The court rejected this application and ordered to send him to jail.
