The interim Yunus government is going to reform the freedom fighter quota, which was started on the issue of quota cancellation and the new government took responsibility for the reform after the departure of the previous government.
Officials of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs are verifying the list of those who have been employed under the quota and say that 43,348 officials and employees have been employed under the freedom fighter quota in government and semi-government institutions or departments.
This list will soon be published on the website through apps to inform the public who has got government jobs under the freedom fighter quota.
If any of them have got a job under a ‘fake certificate’, there will be an opportunity to complain about it on the relevant apps, and the officials and employees who have taken jobs under the freedom fighter quota with fake certificates will be found.
Israt Chowdhury, Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, said, ‘We have received the list of almost all the ministries. The list of more than 40,000 names is being scrutinized by the deputy secretary-level officials of the ministry. After the verification, these can be published on the ministry’s website soon, so that anyone can complain about these certificates. For this, the idea of allowing a complaint is being considered.
