The police reform committee formed by BNP has submitted the police reform proposal. The committee head is BNP standing committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram. The 6-member committee was formed by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
On Saturday (November 16), BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information to the media. It said that the committee was supposed to submit the proposal on November 16, but it submitted it to the BNP Chairperson’s office a day earlier on the evening of November 14.
The other members of the committee are – former IGP Md. Ashraful Huda, former Home Secretary S. M. Zahrul Islam, former IGP Md. Abdul Qayyum, former SP Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan.
