BNP International Affairs Committee member Engineer Ishraq Hossain said, national consensus against fascism should be clear. Fascism has no right to do politics in a democratic country. What right does an ideology that does not believe in the rights of others have?
He said these things in a post on his verified page on social media Facebook on Wednesday.
The young BNP leader wrote in that post, we will call Awami League fascism, and it will not work to be flexible towards them or try to rehabilitate them in politics.
He also wrote, what fascism can do if given a little opportunity has certainly become clear in the last few days. They will not hesitate to threaten the existence of independent Bangladesh. Therefore, I express my solidarity in advance with those who will fight against Awami fascism wherever they are, regardless of party affiliation or religion.
