Another 75 Bangladeshis arrested in the United Arab Emirates for protesting in solidarity with the July-August student uprising have been released. The UAE government has released a total of 188 people in this regard.
This information was given by Sarwar Alam, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Facebook post on Friday (November 29).
In that post, he wrote that the UAE government has pardoned another 75 expatriate Bangladeshis arrested for holding processions and protests in the United Arab Emirates against the killing and oppression of students and the public.
A total of 188 people have been released by the Emirates so far in this incident. Alhamdulillah. Thank you to everyone involved.
