BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has left Dhaka for the UK on a 10-day visit. He left Dhaka for London on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight (BG208) at around 8 am on Saturday along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum.

According to BNP’s media cell sources, the BNP Secretary General will be busy with political and BNP party work during his stay in London. He is also scheduled to meet the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman, who is in London. He is scheduled to return to the country on December 11.

Top BNP leaders are already giving important speeches on the election in the field. Their preparations are also underway internally as a party. At the same time, the party is also trying to keep the parties and alliances that were with BNP in the movement against the long 15-and-a-half-year rule of the Awami League on its side in the elections. Apart from this, the party is also keeping an eye on the election position of Islamic parties including Jamaat-e-Islami. In this context, Mirza Fakhrul’s visit to London as the party’s Secretary General is very important.

A huge rally has been organized by the UK BNP on the occasion of Mirza Fakhrul’s visit to London. The rally has been organized at the Royal Regency on December 3 at 4:30 pm. UK BNP President MA Malik and General Secretary Koychar M Ahmed confirmed the matter.
