Since the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, relations between Bangladesh and India have been strained. Since Hasina was given shelter, India has been warning Bangladesh in various ways. It also wants to put pressure on the interim government by stopping exports.

Meanwhile, in the midst of all this, West Bengal BJP leader and opposition leader in the assembly, Shuvendu Adhikari, gave a stern warning to the interim government of Bangladesh on Monday. He said, ‘Younus be careful, if you throw away the garbage that is produced in Kolkata alone in a day, you will be covered in dust. Don’t come to pick up the garbage.’

The BJP leader said, ‘In 1971, 17,000 Indian soldiers sacrificed their lives to build this Bangladesh. Don’t forget. If someone forgets the past, their future will not be good. The future cannot be good.’

He said at the public meeting, ‘We had announced that trade would be closed today through the Petrapole border. Trade will be closed from 6 am today. It will continue for 24 hours.
I showed this trailer. If the atrocities do not stop, we will close for five days next week. Then in 2025, we will continue to close continuously and show how they eat potatoes and onions. Our name is Bharatvarsh.’
