There is no reason for the two countries’ relations to be stuck on one issue, our relations are multidimensional. India wants to build positive and constructive relations with Bangladesh.
On Tuesday (December 3), Bangladesh’s High Commissioner Pranay Verma was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after an emergency meeting over the attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala, India. He told reporters after the meeting.
He also said, “We are willing to work with the interim government. We will maintain friendly relations. Bangladesh-India relations are multidimensional. The relations between the two countries will not be stuck on one issue. We are interested in increasing the connection between the people of the two countries.”
Earlier, Pranay Verma reached the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shortly before 4 pm. He was summoned to the office of Acting Foreign Secretary M. Riaz Hamidullah.
