BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, we are committed to protecting our independence. We respect the independence of every country, big and small, including India. But if the Indian ruling class thinks that we will continue to expand and capture Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and other countries – then you are living in a fool’s paradise.

He said, today the people of all Bangladesh are awakened. The awakening in their minds is to protect the motherland, here Hindus and Muslims are the children of this motherland, who were born in this soil. Here we are all born. Why would they sell this country to the slavery of others? If Siraj-ud-Daulah and Mohanlal can fight together for the liberation of the country, to protect the country, in the same way we Hindus and Muslims will fight together. We will eat the slavery of Delhi.

Addressing the Indian government, he said, India has never realized the inherent strength and fervor of the people of Bangladesh to defend their country. If you have evil intentions, we will also say, we will claim our Nawab’s areas of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, if you play an aggressive role one after another.

He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the protest rally and march organized by the Bangladesh Puja Udjajan Front in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday afternoon to protest the attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala, India.

Rizvi said, the BJP government came to power by capitalizing on white Hindutva. They have no more capital. So, to remain in power, they will have to spread violence and hatred. Besides, it will be very difficult for Narendra Modi Babu to remain in power. Because their successors have no contribution to India’s independence. He used to talk about secularism, but deep down he had a strict Hindutva. The fundamentalism of any ideology is against humanity. The fundamentalism of any religious community goes against humanity.

India claims to be a secular country, a secular country, but today its media is spreading propaganda against Bangladesh without eating. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also added that it has become a mouthpiece for the Suvendu Babus.

He said, it has been revealed in the white paper that 28 lakh crore taka has been laundered. Tell me how much of this money the Suvendu Babus have received; otherwise, someone will tell you.” Which leaders of the world have received Sheikh Hasina’s share of 28 lakh crore taka. But the people of Bangladesh have known this and maybe one day they will officially say it.

He said, those of us who are here are the successors of Siraj ud Daula, Mohanlal, Mir Badan. So we will fight for Indian aggression. It is in our tradition. You have torn down our flag at the Agartala Assistant High Commission. This is a great blow. We will never forget this.
