28 ambassadors from 27 European Union (EU) member countries and the EU Mission Head in Dhaka, including 27, will meet with Chief Advisor Dr. Professor Muhammad Yunus on December 9.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson and Director General (Public Diplomacy Wing) Mohammad Rafiqul Alam gave this information at the weekly briefing on Thursday.
Responding to a question, he said that the Rohingya crisis, GSP Plus benefits in the post-LDC period and the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with Bangladesh will be discussed, as well as new areas of cooperation will be explored.
Foreign Ministry sources said that the 27 ambassadors of the European Union have never sat down for discussions with the Bangladesh government before.
Ambassadors of 20 European countries are in New Delhi and 7 ambassadors are in Dhaka.
