The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a warning notice today against foreign nationals staying in Bangladesh illegally.
The notice said, “Allegations are being received from various sources that many foreign nationals are staying in Bangladesh illegally and are working in various institutions illegally.”
The notice has requested all foreign nationals who are staying or working in Bangladesh illegally to immediately obtain legality with the necessary documents to stay or work in Bangladesh. Otherwise, legal action will be taken against them, the notice also said.
The notice was signed by Special Assistant to the Principal Advisor on Home Affairs Md. Khoda Baksh Chowdhury and Senior Secretary of the Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen.
