Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, ‘Many fake cases are being filed. Action will be taken against those who file fake cases. No guilty person will be spared and no innocent person can be arrested.’

He said this at a view-exchange meeting with officials of the Armed Forces Division, Khulna Division’s law enforcement agencies and various departments at the Khulna District Shilpakala Academy Auditorium on Monday (December 9) at 11 am.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, ‘Mob justice is being done in various places. Many are taking the law into their own hands. Due to which killings are happening in various places. Strong steps must be taken to stop this.’

He said, the Home Affairs Advisor has instructed the law enforcement agencies not to give any political party an extra chance.

The Home Affairs Advisor said that the law enforcement agencies must stop oil rigging. He also said that no one can be arrested in plain clothes. He also said, “Weapons have been looted from various police stations in the country. But it has not been possible to recover the expected weapons in the operation yet. The law and order situation must be normalized through the recovery of the looted weapons.”
