All preparations for BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia to go abroad for advanced treatment have been completed and the date of her departure has been finalized.
She will be going to London on January 7, her personal physician Al Mamun said.
He confirmed this information on Wednesday (December 25) afternoon.
15 people, including doctors, nurses and assistants, will accompany Begum Zia to London.
Khaleda Zia is suffering from liver cirrhosis. Doctors have said that she needs a liver transplant. In addition, the 79-year-old Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various complications including heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, arthritis, and diabetes for a long time.
