Following the intention of the anti-discrimination student movement to publish the declaration of the July Revolution, the flag-bearer of independence and JSD President ASM Abdur Rab congratulated the interim government for taking the initiative to prepare a declaration of the July Uprising on the basis of national consensus.

In a statement, he said that the July Uprising, through which the people of all classes, including the students and the public, faced the powerful fascism with unprecedented awakening and massive self-sacrifice in revolutionary madness, achieved the victory achieved by the people by confronting the genocide and the intention of the democratic republic that was expressed in it, should be issued as a historical political charter to consolidate it.

He also said that this declaration will be the legal and moral basis of the July Uprising. I hope that the interim government will take effective steps to accept the views of all participating students, political parties and factions, including the anti-discrimination student movement that led the mass uprising.

This declaration will be a historic certificate and memorial of the people’s victory over the July genocide.
