Their transfer orders were issued in two separate notifications signed by Deputy Secretary Abu Sayeed from the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (January 1).

It said that officers have been transferred in the Police Headquarters, Highway Police, Range DIG Office, DMP, Inservice Training Center, Naval Police, PBI, CID and SB.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday (December 31), 7 officers of the rank of Assistant Police Commissioner (AC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) were transferred. They were transferred in an office order signed by DMP Commissioner Sajjat ​​Ali.

The officers who received the transfer orders are: Hafizur Rahman, Assistant Police Commissioner (AC) of DMP Traffic’s Motijheel Division’s Sabujbag Zone, has been posted to the Research and Development (R&D-2) Division at DMP Headquarters, Sakhawat Hossain Sentu of Traffic’s Uttara Division’s Airport Zone has been posted to the City Admin and Logistics Division (Crime Scene and Support) at DMP Headquarters, Ehsanul Kamran Tanvir of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police’s (DB) Mirpur Division has been posted to the Darus Salam Zone of Mirpur Division.

In addition, Assistant Police Commissioner (AC) of DMP Headquarters Akkas Ali has been posted to DMP Motijheel Division, Sohel Rana has been posted to Traffic’s Uttara Division, Omar Faruk has been posted to Gulshan Division’s AC Patrol (Cantonment) and Delwar Hossain, who was performing the same duty, has been posted to DMP Headquarters.
