Information and Broadcasting Advisor Md. Nahid Islam has given a de facto letter (DO letter) to the secretaries to stop lobbying using his name in government offices. This information was given in a press release of the Ministry of Information on Thursday.
In the de facto letter, Advisor Nahid Islam said that recently, some unscrupulous individuals and groups have been lobbying in various offices using his relative’s identity or name to fulfill their personal interests and take illegal benefits, which is completely unethical. This is ruining his reputation.
The de facto letter further mentions that applications containing recommendations are being submitted to various offices by forging the signature of the Information Advisor, which has already come to the notice of the Advisor. If someone tries to recover any work using the relative’s identity or name of the Advisor, the concerned authorities are urged not to consider it.
If there is any such lobbying in any institution and subordinate office or organization or if any application is filed by forging the signature of the Advisor, If submitted, it has been requested to immediately inform Advisor Nahid Islam’s Private Secretary R.H.M. Alaol Kabir.
The semi-official letter further states that the interim government is working with utmost importance to reflect the hopes and aspirations of the people in reality. The Advisor expects the cooperation of government officials and employees in the speedy implementation of state reform activities.
