On December 25, Meraj Ahmed, son of the late Marom Ali, a resident of Haripur area, filed a case with Sadar Police Station against former MP Alhaj Advocate Abu Zahir and Tajul Islam Mahuri. Since then, Tajul Islam Mahuri (40), son of Mr. Ali of Richi village, has been working as a document registrar in the district sub-registrar’s office in public. But members of the law enforcement agencies are not arresting him.
