On the issue of one-eleven, the BNP leader said, ‘Why are you showing fear that 1/11 will be repeated? Do advisors want to teach politics to wise people.’
He made this allegation after visiting the grave of Arafat Rahman Koko at Banani Cemetery on Friday (January 24) morning on the occasion of the 10th death anniversary.
Mentioning that the interim government is the fruit of the democratic movement, Rizvi said, ‘The people expected this government to work for them. But the people cannot vote and you are reforming. Reforms first, elections later, this is like a reflection of Sheikh Hasina. Because, Hasina used to say development first, democracy later.’
He also said, ‘This government will hold free and fair elections. Before that, a few reforms will be needed, no one is saying anything there. But reforms will continue forever, that cannot happen. Reform is an ongoing process.
Any feedback you may have would be greatly appreciated.
