Recently, allegations have been made against former Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Commerce Advisor Salman F Rahman, former ICT State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak and several ministers from prison of conspiring to overthrow the interim government. It is being claimed that these leaders are involved in a conspiracy against the government from prison. Salman F Rahman came to the court and instructed everyone to be ‘ready’ according to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s message against the government. On the other hand, Palak sent a ‘secret message’ from prison on tissue paper and sent it through his lawyer.
Salman F Rahman, Junaid Ahmed Palak and 10 others were produced in court from prison by 10 am on Monday in various cases of murder and attempted murder centered on the anti-discrimination student movement.
From 9:57 am to 10:22 am, the 10 accused were taken from the court’s jail to the courtroom of Metropolitan Magistrate Saifuzzaman in Dhaka. As the accused stood in the dock, their lawyers approached them and spoke to them, but the judge had not yet arrived in court.
At this time, Salman F. Rahman called his lawyers Golam Montaza and Mukul and a few others and said, “What’s up with the workers? What are they doing? The government has taken the jobs of 40,000 workers. 10,000 workers can go to the field. I wanted the company to be run. The current situation in the country.
After this, the lawyers informed him about the situation in the country, ‘Yesterday, Ebtedayi teachers were beaten up, there was a clash between students of Dhaka University and Dhaka College at night, two people were killed.’ Then he smiled and said, ‘What message did the leader (Sheikh Hasina) give?’ Although the lawyers did not answer, he said again, ‘Everyone is asked to be ready according to the leader’s message.’
Meanwhile, the police have received permission to interrogate former Prime Minister’s advisor Salman F. Rahman on a 3-day remand in the Jatrabari police station murder case centered on the anti-discrimination movement.
