The United Arab Emirates has announced a $10 million investment in the Zionist Israeli defense technology company ‘Third Eye’ to acquire a 30 percent ownership. The country’s top defense technology company ‘Edge’ confirmed the matter in a statement.
The agreement is a “game-changing step” for future defense technology, said Lior Segal, CEO of ‘Third Eye Systems’.
He said, “This technical and security partnership further emphasizes the importance of our artificial intelligence-powered products. Its effectiveness in national security will be proven.”
Third Eye Systems is an Israeli artificial intelligence technology company that develops advanced technology for detecting unmanned drones and suicide drones. The deal will take effect once it receives approval from the Israeli Ministry of Defense, the Times of Israel reported.
Investment Terms –
Under the agreement, Edge will own 51 percent, Third Eye will own 43 percent, and the remaining 6 percent will be held by a third party.
The UAE and Israel have been working closely in the military and defense sectors since normalizing diplomatic relations in 2020. According to experts, the investment signals a long-term partnership between the two countries in defense technology.
