A female journalist has been accused of blocking entry to an event organized by Qawmi Entrepreneurs in Dhaka.
There is a lot of discussion on social media about this issue. However, Religious Affairs Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain was not aware of the blocking of entry to a female journalist.
Religious Affairs Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain has condemned the incident of blocking entry to a female journalist at an event organized by an organization called ‘Qawmi Entrepreneurs’ at the China Friendship International Conference Center.
A notification was issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in this regard on Thursday (January 30).
It said that the female journalist’s post mentioned that a female journalist was not allowed to enter an event organized at the China Friendship International Conference Center on January 29. The event was organized by an organization called Qawmi Entrepreneurs. Religious Affairs Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain was invited as the chief guest. If the event organizing authority or any other person prevents a female journalist from entering the event, the responsibility does not lie with the Religious Advisor.
If such an incident occurs at the Qawmi Entrepreneurs Conference, it is certainly condemnable. However, blaming the guest invited to the event for such an incident is in no way reasonable and acceptable. Such a post is purely intentional.
Journalists are invited to any program of the Religious Advisor or the Ministry of Religion. Since joining this ministry, the Religious Advisor has been assisting journalists in fulfilling their professional duties. A number of journalists have already conducted long interviews with him. He or his office have never imposed any restrictions on any journalist. The Religious Advisor and his ministry will continue to assist journalists in fulfilling their professional duties in the future.
Always stay connected with the news.
